Abstract

In the paper we have proceeded in examining the offense of deprivation of liberty illegally, in the light of the new legislative regulations brought by the new Criminal Code. We have paid particular attention to examining the constitutive content of the offense, focusing on the new changes and additions made with the entry into force of the new law. We have also insisted on identifying and reviewing the provisions that have been retained in the new regulation, which are of some importance with regard to the criminal liability of the natural or legal persons who have committed such offenses. The work may be useful to both the university and practitioners in the field.
