FACTORINGUL, O ALTERNATIVĂ MODERNĂ DE FINANŢARE A ÎNTREPRINDERILOR EUROPENE

Abstract


Factoring is a business and also a financing tool, that, very shortly expressed consists in buying some
debts resulted from the supply of goods and services, by a factoring firm. Thanks to the multiple advantages it
provides, factoring is within modern legal-financial tools of finance and commercial management. In the
foreign literature, according to the strict interpretation of international legislation, factoring firms are
considered specialized financial institutions and are not considered credit institutions as banks, according to
regulations concerning the banking system. Within the credit and financing institutions (banking institutions),
factoring will present a product of its service package, that can be carried out by them.
