Considerations Regarding the Phenomenon of Migration and the Principle of Human Liberty
Abstract
In the present study, we propose a comparative analysis and interpretation of two aspects that mark the contemporary society equally: migration on one side, and on the other side the human liberty. Complying with the principle of freedom has always been an aspiration of all civilized states and not only them. There are enough states where today, compliance with this principle remained only an ideal, which generated the overwhelming increase of the phenomenon of migration. One of the factors having a particular importance in fulfilling this ideal is the system of law, a system which promotes respect for and guarantee of fundamental human rights.
