Obligations of Economic, Political and Legal Aspects of Armistice Conducted by Galati
Abstract
Return arms and Romania joining the Allied Powers in the war against Germany helped clarify matters political, economic and legal links between the Romanian state and new allies. In particular, relations with the Soviet Union will be altered by the provisions of the Armistice Agreement and they derive from considerations of war, mainly but not only. In this context, Galati has become an important transit point through which to achieve important deliveries on account of the Soviet state under the Armistice Agreement of September 1944 and even before the advent of the Paris Peace Treaty.
