CONSIDERAŢII POLITICO-MILITARE PRIVIND INTRAREA ROMÂNIEI ÎN Al DOILEA RĂZBOI MONDIAL

Gheorghe Stefan

Abstract

During the entire war, Germany’s principal enemies, The Great Three, would clearly present their
position regarding its political future and territories under the command of the third Reich, being preoccupied
with giving them liberty and independence. Romania’s participation in the second world war would be caused by
political and military isolation, more and more pronounced, circumstances in which the possibility of
recuperating the territories lost in the summer of 1940 were obliging the Romanian authorities to take into
account the option of an alliance with Germany.
