ARMONIZAREA LEGISLAŢIEI MUNCII CU REGLEMENTĂRILE UNIUNII EUROPENE – NECESITATE STRINGENTĂ PENTRU CETĂŢEANUL EUROPEAN

Valerica Nistor

Abstract

The harmonizing of labour legislation with the European one, especially after the adopting
of the EU functioning Treaty in October 2007, has become a desideratum necessary to efficiently using the
labour force in he European space and beyond.
A perfect harmonizing of labour law national legislations with European regulations in the field
would be possible by adopting a European Labour Code.
Until now, there has been no attempt to adopting a European Labour Code, yet there were instituted
juridical settlements at the level of a states’ federation drawing their force and authority from history and, in
the same time, from the very nature of European states’ legislations, as well as from purely economic
necessities.
The harmonizing, that has to go on until the adopting of a European Labour Code, aims at all legal
and pragmatic levels and is also concerned with the international obligations assumed by the 27 EU states.
