Abstract

L’enseignement de la traduction à l’université s’est orienté, les dernières années, vers la traduction professionnelle, étant donné le développement du marché demandeur en traduction technique. Ce type  de traduction a en vue la méthodologie de la traduction (la traductologie), la formation des  étudiants aux outils du traducteur, le renforcement des savoirs thématiques dans différents domaines : droit, chimie, médecine, etc. Une bonne formation des traducteurs suppose, donc,  une réflexion théorique rigoureuse  de la pratique pédagogique qui aide les étudiants à s’adapter et à s’insérer rapidement  dans   le monde professionnel. Teaching translation at the university has been lately oriented towards professional translation due to the development of the market demanding technical translation. This type of activity deals with translation methods (traductology), students training in translator’s tools and reinforcing thematic knowledge in different areas: law, chemistry, medicine, etc. A good training of translators implies therefore a rigorous theoretical reflection of the pedagogical practice that helps students to rapidly adapt and integrate in the professional world.
